PROVO, Utah - Two UNLV women's soccer players were selected to the All-Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Second Team, as the league's season awards were announced on Tuesday night at the pre-championship banquet on the BYU campus.
Alicia Lugo, a senior goalkeeper from Lancaster, Calif., led the conference in saves with 5.26 per game, and also posted five shutouts and a 1.09 GAA for the season. She finished her career as the conference's all-time leader in saves with 329 in her four years at UNLV.
Joining Lugo on the all-conference second team was Brianna Moore, a senior midfielder from Riverside, Calif. Moore started all 19 games for the Rebels, and posted two goals, including one game-winner, for four points on the season to finish in a tie for fifth on the team.
