Ashli Holland and Laura Briones connected on a pair of RBI-singles to plate the first two runs of the stanza, while Elena Fata quickly followed with a two-run single of her own. The final two tallies of the inning scored on a bases-loaded walk issued to Marissa Nichols and a sacrifice fly put in play by Brittany Bolinger.
Jaci Hull ended the game in the fifth inning, when she cranked a run-scoring double to right-center to score Bolinger from first. Bolinger had led off the inning with a single.
Odegard improved to 5-4 on the year with tonight's decision. She tossed 5.0 innings and was only touched for four hits. She struck out four and walked one.
