LAS VEGAS -
Week Six Release in PDF Format
Leading Off: After spending four of the first five weekends at home, the UNLV Rebels will become road warriors for the next two. The Rebels will head to Northern California for both trips, as they play in this weekend's National Invitational Softball Tournament (March 13-15) in San Jose and the following weekend (March 20-21) in Sacramento.
This weekend, UNLV will play a pair of games each on Friday (Canisius and Sacramento State) and Saturday (Long Beach State and San Jose State) before closing down the Invitational on Sunday with a single game (UC Davis).
On Deck: UNLV will make its third of four scheduled trips to California, when they return for the Capital Classic (March 20-21) hosted by Sacramento State.
The Rebels will play twice each on Friday (Dartmouth and California) and Saturday (Sacramento State and Cal Poly).
Facing Sacramento State and Cal Poly will not be new to UNLV in 2009, as they will have met the Hornets (San Jose) and Cal Poly (Cathedral City) earlier this season.
