LAS VEGAS - UNLV's men's tennis team will have to wait another day to open Mountain West Conference play because of Thursday's snow storm in Colorado.

The Rebels, who departed and arrived safely in the Colorado Springs area on Wednesday, were scheduled to play San Diego State at the Air Force Academy on Friday in a neutral-site affair. However the Aztecs' flight from San Diego was canceled on Thursday because of the severe spring weather hitting the Rocky Mountain region.

The conference announced that the key league match may be rescheduled for later in the season.

UNLV (11-7) will play Air Force on Saturday and New Mexico on Sunday as scheduled.
