LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Softball program will hold three softball camps this summer at Eller Media Stadium that will be staffed by the coaching staff and Rebel student-athletes. The "Showcase Skills Camp" is scheduled for June 15, while the "Softball Camp" will be held in two sessions, June 22-24 and July 20-22.

The "Showcase Skills Camp" is directed to high-school aged girls that are interested in playing softball at the collegiate level. The camp is designed to help fine tune throwing, hitting, bunting, field mechanics, outfield play and base-running skills. The "Showcase" will also consist of skills and game evaluation, as well as an education clinic with a Q&A session focused on the recruiting needs of an NCAA Division I athlete. The camp is one day and is limited to 40 campers and will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The "Softball Camp" is for young girls ranging from seven- to 14-years-old. This camp will focus on fundamentals pertaining to throwing, hitting, bunting, field mechanics, outfield play, base running and pitching. Afternoon scrimmages will help each participant develop new skills and evaluate their level of play. This camp has two sessions to choose from, June 22-24 and July 20-22. Each day is set 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
