LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Softball program has officially closed registration to its "Showcase Skills Camp", which is to be held on June 15. The camp has reached its limit of 40 participants.

There are still openings for its "Softball Camp" that will be held in two different sessions, June 22-24 and July 20-22. This camp is designed for young girls ranging from seven- to 14-years-old and will focus on fundamentals pertaining to throwing, hitting, bunting, field mechanics, outfield play, base running and pitching. Afternoon scrimmages will help each participant develop new skills and evaluate their level of play. Each day is set to begin at 9:00 am and conclude by 3:00 pm.
