LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Though it had several scoring chances during the game, it took until the 84th minute for UNLV to score as the Rebels used a goal in the 84th minute to top Dixie State 1-0 in a women's college soccer exhibition contest on Tuesday night from Peter Johann Memorial Field.

Sophomore Colette Jepson posted the game-winner, and her shot from the top of the box slid under the Dixie State goalkeeper and into the net for a 1-0 UNLV lead with just over six minutes to play.

Freshman Kylie Wassell played the entire 90 minutes for UNLV in goal and did not allow a score.

UNLV will open the regular season on Friday, Aug. 20, with a road contest at UC Riverside at 7 pm.
