LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Single-game tickets for the upcoming 2011-12 UNLV men's basketball season went on sale Oct. 24. Tickets may be purchased by calling (702) 739-FANS (3267), online at UNLVTickets.com, at Town Square Las Vegas, or at the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office.
The Runnin' Rebels - under first-year head coach Dave Rice- are returning four starters and seven key players from a team that went 24-9 a season ago and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in the last five years.
Tickets will go on sale for one exhibition game and 16 regular-season games at the Thomas & Mack Center. Fans will save money again this season when purchasing Runnin' Rebel tickets in advance of the day of games.
UNLV's home schedule features key games against intrastate rival Nevada, Reno (Nov. 14); California (Dec. 23), one of the top teams in the Pac-12; preseason Mountain West-favorite New Mexico (Jan. 21); and San Diego State (Feb. 11), a top-10 team a season ago.
The Runnin' Rebels will open up play at the Thomas & Mack Center on Tuesday, Nov. 1, against Washburn for an exhibition game. All balcony tickets to that game will be $10 if purchased in advance.
Friday, Nov. 11 - 11.11.11 - will officially mark the beginning of The Dave RiceEra as UNLV will face Grand Canyon on Opening Night at the Thomas & Mack Center. All balcony tickets to that game will be just $11 when purchased in advance.
Some additional promotional highlights from the season include: $12 balcony tickets for the Dec. 28 game against Central Arkansas to celebrate 2012; the popular Kids' Day promotion on Saturday, Feb. 25 vs. Air Force (pregame Kids' Festival plus $5 balcony tickets for children between the ages of 3-12, with a paying adult - restrictions apply); and the annual Senior Night White Out vs. Wyoming on March 3 (balcony tickets will be 2-for-1).

Group sales - with discounted ticket prices beginning for groups of 15 or more people - are also available beginning Monday, Oct. 24.
Season tickets for Runnin' Rebel basketball start as low as $105 for end zone balcony tickets - that's just over $6 per game. Sideline balcony tickets are $195 and great seats remain available in the plaza. Plaza season tickets are $505 with premium seats requiring a donation to the Rebel Athletic Fund.
