Week Ten Release in PDF Format 
Leading Off: After opening up their 2011 Mountain West Conference schedule on the road, the UNLV Rebels return to Las Vegas this weekend to kick off the home portion. UNLV will welcome the BYU Cougars and Utah Utes to town for a total of three games (April 14-16).
The Rebels open up with a single contest against BYU on Thursday at 6:00 pm. UNLV and Utah will then play a two-game set with a 6:00 pm contest on Friday night before a 1:00 pm tilt Saturday afternoon.
On Deck: The UNLV Rebels hit the road for their fifth and final trip scheduled for California during the regular season. UNLV will play at San Diego State on Saturday, April 23 (1:00 pm).
Looking Back A Weekend: The UNLV Rebels went 2-1 last weekend in road contests at Colorado State and New Mexico. UNLV held on for a 9-8 win against CSU before they split a two-game set against UNM. The Rebels won the first game, 3-1, but lost the second, 2-1.
Tayler Van Acker led the Rebels offensively with her .667 batting average, six hits, two doubles, eight total bases, .889 slugging and .700 on-base percentages.
Van Acker was one of six hitters to scatter at least three hits on the weekend. Kylie Wagner, Stefany Valentino, Paige Emerson, Ashli Holland and Tayler Aleman all had three hits.
In the circle, Amanda Oliveto went 2-1 with a 2.80 ERA in 20.0 innings pitched. Oliveto went the distance in all three of the contests and struck out 16.
Another Successful Opening: After they racked up a 9-8 win at Colorado State last Friday, the UNLV Rebels improved to 6-6 in Mountain West Conference openers and are now 3-2 when they begin on the road.
Overall, the Rebels are 4-8 in their first conference game played on the road dating back to 2000.
Turn On Your TVs: The UNLV Rebels will make two appearances on television this season with both taking place in Las Vegas. UNLV's contest against San Diego State on Sunday, May 8 (12:30 pm) will be broadcast live by CBS Sports Network, formerly CBS College Sports Network. A week later, the Rebels tussle with the Colorado State Rams on Saturday, May 14 (1:00 pm) will be aired by The MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.).
