Week Twelve Release in PDF Format

Leading Off: The UNLV Rebels open up the second half of their Mountain West Conference season on the road in the state of Utah. The road trip signifies the final one scheduled for conference play and also the last time UNLV will square off with Utah and BYU as league foes.

The Rebels open up action Thursday at 4:00 pm MT (3:00 pm PT) in Salt Lake City against the Utah Utes. UNLV will then play a two-game set in Provo on Friday (6:00 pm MT/5:00 pm PT) and Saturday (2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT).

On Deck: The UNLV Rebels return home for the remainder of the season after their trip to the Beehive State. UNLV will kick off its five-game home stand with a pair of games against San Diego State the weekend of May 7-8. The first game (May 7) is slated for a 1:00 pm first pitch, while the second (May 8) is set for 12:30 pm.

Looking Back A Weekend: The UNLV Rebels went 0-1 last week with their only game taking place on the road against the San Diego State Aztecs. The contest was a scoreless affair until SDSU got a three-run home run in the fifth and then added an insurance run in the fifth.

UNLV out-hit SDSU 7-to-6, but was unable to score any runs in the ball game. Paige Emerson led the squad with a pair of singles, while five others registered hits.

Turn On Your TVs: The UNLV Rebels will make two appearances on television this season with both taking place in Las Vegas. UNLV's contest against San Diego State on Sunday, May 8 (12:30 pm) will be broadcast live by CBS Sports Network, formerly CBS College Sports Network. A week later, the Rebels tussle with the Colorado State Rams on Saturday, May 14 (1:00 pm) will be aired by The MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.).
