Week Thirteen Release 
Leading Off: The UNLV Rebels return home for the final two weeks of the regular season with five games remaining on the schedule. UNLV will play two of those contests this weekend when the San Diego State Aztecs come to Las Vegas for single games on Saturday (1:00 pm) and Sunday (12:30 pm).
On Deck: The UNLV Rebels close out the regular season with three games next week. UNLV opens up the action against New Mexico on May 12 (6:00 pm). The Rebels will then host Colorado State on May 13 (6:00 pm) and May 14 (1:00 pm).
Looking Back A Weekend: The UNLV Rebels went 1-1 last week with a win at Utah and a loss at BYU.
UNLV jumped out quickly on Utah with a 5-0 lead through five innings last Thursday. Utah pulled within one with four scores in the sixth, but the Rebels pushed three runs across in the seventh for some insurance.
BYU staked itself to a 6-0 lead after one inning of play and never looked back last Friday night. The Cougars eventually claimed the contest in five innings by a 16-0 score.
Five Rebels amassed at least two hits with Paige Emerson leading the squad with four. Emerson also topped the team in batting average (.667), as well. Heather Harrison and Ashli Holland each had three hits, while Harrison led the squad with four RBI.
Turn On Your TVs: The UNLV Rebels will make two appearances on television this season with both taking place in Las Vegas. UNLV's contest against San Diego State on Sunday, May 8 (12:30 pm) will be broadcast live by CBS Sports Network, formerly CBS College Sports Network. A week later, the Rebels tussle with the Colorado State Rams on Saturday, May 14 (1:00 pm) will be aired by The MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.).
