EUGENE, Ore. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's soccer team turned in a tough defensive effort on Sunday afternoon but had to settle for a third straight 1-0 loss, as the Oregon Ducks used an early goal to claim the victory at Pape Field. UNLV dropped to 1-3 on the season, while Oregon remained undefeated at 3-0.

The lone score of the game came in the sixth minute, thanks to a shot from Julie Armstrong. Oregon held a 11-4 edge on shots for the afternoon, though only 5-3 on shots on goal. Credited with shots on goal for the Rebels were Macy Jo Harrison, Jenna Howerton and Elizabeth Billington, all with one each. UNLV also held a 3-1 edge on corner kicks.
