UNLV weekly men's soccer notes
The Rebels losing skid was pushed to five, as they were shutout by eighth-rankedUC Irvine last weekend. The Anteaters jumped on the Rebels early and often en route to a 4-0 win.
This week, UNLV attempts to get its first win in a month, though the Rebels are matched up against a team it has a 9-21 overall record against, the New Mexico Lobos. The Lobos have also won the last five matches, including the 1-0 overtime victory in the MPSF Tournament last season.
