LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Coming off one of the top seasons in program history, a school-record three UNLV women's soccer players were named all-region, as Caitlin Allen, Macy Jo Harrison and Jenn Wolfe were all named to the NSCAA All-Pacific Region Second Team, it was announced this week.

UNLV had never placed more then one player on the all-region teams, while the trio join Ashleigh Shoughro as the only second-team honorees in school history. Previously, the Rebels had four players named to the third team. The Rebels finished the 2012 season with a 12-4-4 mark under first-year head coach Michael Coll. The .700 winning percentage for the season is the best ever for UNLV, while the four losses are also the fewest in team history. All three players were also first-team All-Mountain West selections this year.

Allen, a senior defender and native of San Diego, anchored a defense that posted 10 shutouts this year. She also scored two goals on the year, including one game-winner against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 2).

Wolfe, junior forward from Olathe, Kan., was the top offensive player for the Rebels this season, as her 26 points and 12 goals were both second in the Mountain West. The 26 points ranked as the third-highest in a season in team history, while the 12 goals were the second-highest mark. She also finished second in the conference in game-winners with six on the season.

Harrison, a senior midfielder from Napa, Calif., set a UNLV record with eight assists on the year, which placed her third in the MW. She also posted four goals in 2012 to give her 16 points, which ranked her third in the league.
