SAN DIEGO (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV Rebels (14-12) and the rest of the San Diego Classic II tournament field have had their games canceled Saturday due to persistent rains in the San Diego area. In all, eight games were called due to the precipitation, as five were set to be played at the SDSU Softball Stadium and three at the USD Softball Complex.

UNLV was scheduled to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats at 11:30 am Saturday.

With the cancelation of today's games, Sunday's action has been altered, as well. UNLV, who was slated to play Valparaiso and Long Beach State, will now only play a single game at 10:00 am tomorrow morning. The Rebels and the Valparaiso Crusaders will square off at the SDSU Softball Stadium.
