Lady Rebels Look For Split Of Weekend Trip...
UNLV will be looking to bounce back on Saturday against Utah after suffering a loss at BYU on Thursday night in Provo. This game will mark the middle of UNLV's annual rodeo road trip, and all three games are in the Beehive State, as next weekend will see the Lady Rebels play at Southern Utah. Saturday also marks the second straight game for UNLV against a former conference rival, and its the first trip for UNLV to Salt Lake City since the 2010-11 season. The last win for the Lady Rebels at the Huntsman Center was on Jan. 16, 2010, a 54-49 victory with the deciding three-pointer provided by current assistant coach Mia Bell.

The Lady Rebels will be looking for a better showing offensively after shooting just 27% and 33% in their last two contests. Utah has been having struggles of its own, as at least three players are currently sidelined with injuries, including Malia Nawahine who was second on the team in scoring. The Utes also just broke a four-game losing streak, and its only two wins are over Mountain West schools San Jose State and Utah State.

One connection between the schools is Kalee Whipple, a former All-American for the Utes who is in her third year on the Lady Rebel coaching staff.
