@UNLVGolf on TWITTER | Results ORLANDO, Fla. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team shot a second-round 18-over-par 306 on Monday and is in 12th place at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational, which is being played at Isleworth Country Club (par 72, 7,544).
California leads by nine shots at 7-under 569 after a second-round 2-over 290. Illinois is second at 2-over, followed by Arizona State in third at 3-over. North Florida is fourth at 7-over, while Vanderbilt rounds out the top five at 8-over. The Rebels have a 36-hole score of 28-over 604. 15 teams are competing.
Individually, California's Collin Morikawa leads by a shot at 7-under 137 after a second-round 2-under 70. Arizona State teammates Max Rottluff and Jon Rahm are in second and third, respectively, at 6- and 3-under. There is a two-way tie for fourth at 2-under.
UNLV sophomore John Oda leads the Rebels in a tie for 24th at 4-over 148 after a second-round 6-over 78. Senior AJ McInerney and junior Redford Bobbitt are both tied for 49th at 8-over after second rounds of 4-over and 5-over, respectively, while freshman Harry Hall is tied for 55th at 9-over after a second-round 4-over and sophomore Shintaro Ban is tied for 60th at 11-over after a second-round 5-over. A total of 75 individuals make up the field.
