LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV softball and women's basketball programs volunteered at the After-School All-Star's Un-Gala, which was held at the Las Vegas Sports Center this past Saturday, Oct. 3.

In conjunction with its 20th anniversary, the After-School All-Stars held an Olympic-style opening ceremony for more than 700 Clark County School District (CCSD) students from 14 schools. More than 700 children were treated to a full day of activities, food and fun, including 20 different rides.

The Rebel softball team oversaw the batting cages station, while the Lady Rebels assisted at a basketball station.

The After-School All-Stars is an organization that provides comprehensive after-school programs to keep children safe and help them succeed in not only school, but also life.
