Dec. 17, 2015 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The honors keep rolling in for senior Bradley Kamdem of the UNLV men's soccer team, as he was named to the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America ) Scholar All-America Third Team, the national organization announced on Friday.
Kamdem, a defender from Paris, France, was a big key to the Rebel defensive effort that posted five team shutouts and a 1.19 GAA. A first-team All-WAC selection and a second-team NSCAA All-West Region honoree, he made an impact offensively during the year with a pair of goals and three assists and was named WAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14.
Kamdem has earned academic all-league honors the past two seasons, holds a 3.38 cumulative GPA and will graduate from the school with a degree in business management. He was also recently named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team.
UNLV finished the season with a 12-7-1 mark and reached the semifinals of the WAC Tournament before falling to Utah Valley, an eventual NCAA At-Large squad.
