CLAREMONT, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV standout junior Jakob Amilon won his third straight match on Sunday to move into Monday's finals of singles qualifying at the 2015 Claremont USTA Pro Classic in California.

Competing at the Claremont Club in this pro circuit event, Amilon outlasted Jake Douglas 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 to advance and is now just one victory away from a spot in the main draw.

The Rebels' other remaining representative, Alexandr Cozbinov, lost his day three matchup, 6-3, 6-1.

The event runs through September 20.
