UNLV Looks To Even Season Series With Bulldogs..
One game after avenging an earlier road loss thanks to a nine-point win over New Mexico, UNLV looks to even up another season series when it hosts Fresno State on Saturday afternoon as the Lady Rebels celebrate National Girls and Women In Sports Day.
UNLV brings a two-game win streak into the contest, while the Bulldogs suffered their first conference road loss in their last game, a two-point home setback to San Jose State. The Lady Rebels have been strong at home this season, with a 9-2 record, and have held three of their last opponents in the Cox Pavilion to under 50 points. Fresno State meanwhile is 4-0 on the road in league play, but all four wins are by single digits.
The Lady Rebels are currently alone in fourth-place in the Mountain West, with a half-game lead over San Jose State. They are two games behind Boise State, while Fresno State comes in with an 8-1 league mark.
UNLV will look to control the boards, as it ranks 10th in the nation in total rebounds per game, and eighth overall in offensive rebounding.
