UNLV Loses 111-104 In 2OT Dogfight Against Fresno State

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) Patrick McCaw led UNLV with 28 points and 16 rebounds Saturday night in an epic 2-overtime, 111-104 loss to Fresno State.

Marvelle Harris had 37 points for Fresno State, including seven points in the second overtime, and was 13 of 27 from the floor with seven assists. Julien Lewis added 18 points and Cullen Russo had 17.

Fresno State led throughout the second half until UNLV's Dwayne Morgan made a layup for an 86-84 lead with 2:33 left. Harris had a layup with 36 seconds left to send it to overtime.

The first overtime ended with a 92-92 tie. The Bulldogs opened the second extra period with a 10-2 run and held on for the win.

Ike Nwamu finished with 27 points for UNLV.
