BOISE, ID (UNLVRebels.com) - The undefeated UNLV women's tennis team rallied to win its 14th-match against Brigham Young, 5-2, on Saturday at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center in Idaho.

While the Lady Rebels improved to 14-0, the Cougars fell to 3-9.

BYU began the day by taking two of three doubles matches for a 1-0 lead. UNLV's lone victory came at the bottom of the lineup where Iren Kotseva and Paola Artiga whitewashed Natella Nabieva and Taylah Beckman 6-0.

Moving into singles, the lady netters' won five matches, two of which were decided by a tiebreaker.

Iren Kotseva tied the match by sweeping Beckman 6-4, 6-4 on court six. All eyes moved to court three where Artiga went the distance against Nicolette Poulsen, winning 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, giving the Rebels the lead.Carol Zi Yang, ranked 63rd, downed Mayci Jones 6-4, 7-5 at No. 1. Anna Bogoslavets defeated Nabieva 7-6(7-4), 7-6(7-4) at No. 4. Aiwen Zhu outlasted Toby Miclat 2-6, 6-3, 7-6(7-4) at No. 2.

UNLV will stay in the Potato state to take on conference opponent Boise State on Sunday. Doubles will begin at 9 a.m. PT.
