Men's Tennis Road Trips To Beehive State

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team is on the rebound after a heartbreaking 4-3 loss against Loyola Marymount back in February. The Rebels will be hitting the road to compete in dual matches against No. 74 ranked Utah on Friday and No. 59 ranked BYU on Saturday. Both matches will begin with doubles starting at 1:00 p.m. PT on Friday and 11:00 a.m. PT on Saturday.

Leading the way are junior Jakob Amilon and sophomore Alexandr Cozbinov. Amilon was named the Mountain West men's tennis player of the week in February and is currently 17-6 overall in singles and doubles at the top position. Cozbinov, who won his first career Davis Cup match to help his home nation of Moldova to a victory over the Republic of San Marino and advance to take on the host Estonia, is currently 13-9 overall in singles and doubles.
