@UNLVRebelSoccer | UNLV Weekly Release
There are no shortage of storylines for this weekend of UNLV men's soccer, which will see the Rebels host Utah Valley on Friday at 4:30 pm and No. 22 Seattle on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm, both at Peter Johann Memorial Field.

Friday is also a double-header with the UNLV women's team, who will be hosting their Senior Night against Nevada, Reno at 7 pm, and its Rebel Kids Club Day for both teams as well. The UNLV Soccer Foundation is hosting a free tailgate for both games with free food and drinks, starting at 5 pm, while bounce houses will also be on the practice fields. The first 100 fans to the game on Friday will receive a UNLV foam finger as well.
It's a key weekend for all three teams in the WAC standings, as SU and Air Force lead the WAC standings with 17 points, just two points over third place UNLV. A loss by either of the front runners and a 2-0 weekend from the Rebels would move them into at least a tie for first place. Utah Valley meanwhile is fighting for its tournament lives, as the Wolverines come into Friday's game in eighth place in the standings. The top seven will advance to the postseason tournament, hosted by the Rebels on Nov. 8-12.
One advantage for the Rebels in their bid for the regular season championship, they play two of their last three games at home. Both Seattle and Air Force will finish the WAC season with three straight road games.
Sunday is also Senior Day for 11 Rebel seniors, who will be honored before the game. This is a senior class that will go down as one of the top classes in school history, with two conference titles, two NCAA appearances and a NCAA tournament win on their resume going into the final weeks of this season.
Both games will be live streamed on the WAC Digital Network, which can be accessed on UNLVRebels.com, as well as through Roku and Apple TV devices.
