UNLV LOOKS TO SNAP LOSING STREAK SATURDAY...

The Lady Rebels come into Saturday's game at Gonzaga looking to snap a three-game losing streak, after starting the year with four straight victories. It will not be an easy task however for UNLV, as not only are the Zags preseason favorites in the WCC and are coming off an NCAA appearance in 2017, they are also riding a 10-game home win streak, the longest for the team under fourth-year head coach Lisa Fortier.

Saturday's contest will have a radio broadcast featuring the call of Wyatt Tomchek and Mark Wasik, available online (UNLVRebels.com) and on the UNLV Game Day app. The game will also have a live video stream through theW.tv, which can also be accessed at UNLVRebels.com.

Gonzaga has dealt with a few injuries this year while losing three of its first five games, which included a 16-point loss at Mountain West member Colorado State to start the season. However, the Zags have won their past three games, which includes a 39-point win over a Portland State team, who took UNLV to overtime in the season opener.

UNLV brings in one of the top rebounding squads in the nation, as the Lady Rebels rank 16th in rebounds per contest and ninth in offensive rebounds. The Zags meanwhile have been outrebounded in half of their contests thus far this season.

Gonzaga is not the only team to deal with injuries this season, as UNLV had three players leave the court with injuries in its two losses in the ASU Classic, and all three (Brooke Johnson, Nikki Wheatley, Katie Powell) did not return in the game they were hurt. All three however are expected to be in the starting lineup on Saturday.

This is the first meeting for UNLV and Gonzaga in the sport of women's basketball.
