LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team won its second straight match with a 4-2 win over Weber State to complete a Friday doubleheader sweep at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebels improved to 2-0, while the Wildcats feel to 2-3.

UNLV won two out of three doubles matches to begin the afternoon. Jakob Amilon and Evaldo Neto got by Shao-Pao Yin and Stefan Cooper 6-4 at No. 1 and Adam Gage-Brown and Richard Solberg defeated Hou-En Chen and Cezary Walkusz 7-5 on court three.

In singles, the Rebels won three matches. Alexandr Cozbinov edged by Yin 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1; Solberg downed Walkusz 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4; and Courtney Lock got by Van Schoor 7-5, 6-3 court six. Next up, UNLV hosts Youngstown State on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a matchup between UC Riverside at 2 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
