Preseason Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll Release | @UNLVGolf | 2017-18 Schedule

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team will open the 2017-18 season ranked No. 12 in the nation as the preseason Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll was released Friday.

The Rebels' first tournament of the new school year will be Sept. 8-10 at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which is hosted by Air Force.

UNLV is entering its 31st season under Hall of Fame head coach Dwaine Knight. This year's team returns two All-Americans and All-America Scholars in seniors John Oda and Shintaro Ban, along with All-Mountain West performer Harry Hall, who is a junior.

Last season, UNLV won the Mountain West Championship, captured an NCAA Regional title and advanced to the `Elite Eight' at the NCAA Championship. The program has an active NCAA record of 29 consecutive regional appearances.
