Hall Named Outstanding Rebel Of The Week

Men's golf senior Harry Hall earns honor after winning first collegiate tournament

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV men's golf senior Harry Hall has been named the Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Wednesday.

The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletic Communications department.

Hall, a native of Hayle, England, won the first individual title of his career Saturday at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The senior finished the two-day 54-hole event at 11-under (205) to lead the No. 15 Rebels to a second-place team finish at the event. Hall finished the event strong with a 2-under 70 in the final round to tie for first, earning co-medalist honors. His previous best finishes were two ties for second in 2017 and a second-place showing at the 2018 Southern Highlands Collegiate.

This is the second career Rebel of the Week award of Hall, who also earned it on March 14, 2017.

Hall and the Rebels are back in action next week at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Oct. 8 & 9.
