Lady Rebel Spooktacular Set For Halloween Night

Come out for the free open practice, followed by trick or treating and games and prizes.

UNLV fans will have the chance to watch the Lady Rebels and get in their Halloween fun on Wednesday, Oct. 31, as part of the first "Lady Rebel Spooktacular", a special event for all children up to eighth grade and their parents at the Mendenhall Center on the UNLV campus. The special holiday event will start at 6 pm, while doors will open at 5:30 pm.

Kids are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes, as after watching the Lady Rebels in an open practice, there will also be trick or treating, games, prizes and more surprises.

For more information or to pre-register, please contact UNLV women's basketball program coordinator Margo Malik (702-895-3151) at margo.malik@unlv.edu.

The Lady Rebels bring back four senior starters from last year's Mountain West Championship squad, and will open the season at home on Friday, Nov. 9 at 6 pm against Wright State. Season tickets are on sale now, at $65 for adults and $50 for seniors and faculty/staff. Kids 12 and under are always free at Lady Rebel games, while new this year, all kids in Nevada public schools receive free admission with a student ID.
