LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Overnight rain has forced the cancellation of the final day of the Rebel Classic at Eller Media Stadium. The Rebels finished the weekend 3-1 to move to 17-7 on the year - their best start since the 1996 squad went 19-5. UNLV is also just eight wins shy of their 2017 win total with the entire conference slate still to play.

UP NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV will open Mountain West play on the road next weekend at New Mexico, March 16-18. First pitch in the series is set for Friday, March 16 at 5 p.m. PT
