UNLV Expands Free Admission Program For Students To Olympic Sports

All elementary, middle and high school students in the state of Nevada will receive complimentary admission to volleyball, women's soccer, men's soccer, women's basketball, softball and baseball.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - With the 2018 UNLV fall sports seasons beginning later this week, the athletics department has announced an expanded free student admission program for its Olympic sports.

Previously, only kids age 12-and-under received complimentary admission to the sports of volleyball, women's soccer, men's soccer, women's basketball, softball and baseball. Now, all students in elementary, middle and high schools will receive free entry to those sporting events at UNLV.

"We are pleased to be able to offer all Nevada students free admission to our Olympic sporting events," UNLV Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois said. "Rebel student-athletes are role models for younger students and our hope is to foster deeper connections between our programs and the community."

To receive free admission, high school students must present valid Nevada area school I.D. at the box office on game day to receive one (1) complimentary ticket. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.

UNLV's fall season begins this Friday, August 17 with women's soccer hosting UIC at 7 p.m. at Peter Johann Memorial Field. Volleyball will face Northern Arizona in an exhibition match at Cox Pavilion on Saturday, August 18 at 2 p.m. For full schedules, please visit UNLVRebels.com.
