LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The Rebel cross country team returns to action in nearby Henderson at the Lake Las Vegas Sports Club Saturday morning at its own UNLV Invitational. The Scarlet & Gray will participate in the university women's 5K at 8:00 am, which is the second race of the day and follows the university men's 8K at 7:15 am. There will also be two varsity 5Ks (boys 8:30 am and girls 9:15 am) and a pair of open 5Ks (high school: boys 10:00 am and girls 10:45 am).
 
The Rebels have competed twice this season in the Golden State with a 5K at the Fresno Invitational and a 6K at the UC Riverside Invitational. Agnes Mansaray was UNLV's top finisher in both races with personal-best times of 18:15.30 (second place) in the former and 20:53.8 (11th) in the latter, respectively.
 
Mansaray will be joined by teammates Kennedy Allen, Payton Fratusco, Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete, Elisa Rovere, Emma Schmid, Kara Smith, Nicole Snow and Emma Wahlenmaier at Saturday's race. 
 
RACE DETAILS: The Lake Las Vegas Sports Club is located at 101 Via Vin Santo in Henderson (89011). If you are traveling east from Las Vegas towards Henderson, take Lake Mead Parkway east and then turn left on Lake Las Vegas Parkway; Via Vin Santo will be on the left.
