FRESNO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV finished 11th overall at the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Cross Country Championships Friday, held at Woodward Park hosted by Fresno State.
The Scarlet & Gray was paced by Angelina Vasquez, who finished 90th with a time of 23:13.7 (70 points). Reagan Reed was the second Rebel to cross the finish line – 93rd overall, with a time of 23:16.8 (72). Claire Rands (23:38.6), Alana Sangprasit (23:53.9), Taryn Bailey (24:06.0), Aine McDade (24:24:18.1) and Autumn Viscardo (24:31.9) rounded out the scoring for UNLV with 73, 75, 76, 77 and 80 points, respectively. Nicole Boskovich also competed in the race and finished 24:49.8.
TEAM RESULTS: New Mexico claimed its 16th MW title behind a total team score of 24 points and a time of 1:39.24. UNM had five of its scoring runners finish 11th or better, four of which were in the top five. Boise State finished second overall (41 points/1:40.33) and Air Force was third (103/1:43.36).
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: UNM's Pamela Kosgei won the individual title for the second straight year, running a conference-best 19:20.8. Boise State's Kaiya Robertson took second (19:42.3), while the UNM trio of Judy Rono (19:49.7), Jasmine Wood (19:56.1) and Marion Jepngetich (20:02.0) took third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
SILVER STATE SERIES: By virtue of a higher finish at the MW Cross Country Championships, UNR claimed the three points associated with the sport in the 2025-26 Silver State Series, which is presented by America First Credit Union. UNLV and UNR are tied, 3-3, in the all-encompassing athletic and academic competition.
