SACRAMENTO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country team finished 39th overall at the 2025 NCAA West Regional, which was hosted by Sacramento State University and contested at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course.
The Rebels were paced by Angelina Vasquez (23:30.7) and Reagan Reed (23:37.3). Claire Rands (23:49.3), Alana Sangprasit (24:25.8), Aine McDade (25:02.2) and Autumn Viscardo (26:25.0) also represented the Scarlet & Gray in the 6K.
TEAM RESULTS: Stanford and Oregon finished first and second, respectively, and automatically advance to the NCAA Championships in Columbia, Missouri on Nov. 22. The Cardinal claimed two of the top-five individual finishes and four placed 18th or better. The Ducks had runners come in second and third, along with four in the top 20.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Washington State's Rosemary Longisa won the NCAA West Regional with a time of 19:08.3, while Oregon teammates Diana Cherotich (19:12.6) and Silan Ayyildiz (19:16.8) finished second and third, respectively.
