LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country program released its 2026 fall schedule Tuesday. The Rebels will compete in five meets before their participation in the Mountain West Championships and the NCAA postseason.
The season kicks off at Cal State San Bernardino's Coyote Challenge (5K) in San Bernardino, California, on September 5. The team will then participate in the annual UC Riverside Invitational (September 19/5K Open/6K Invite) before returning home for the Duel In The Desert (September 25) at Floyd Lamb Park.
The Scarlet & Gray will hit the road in the Golden State for a pair of meets at The Master's University Invite (6K) on October 3 in Santa Clarita followed by the Santa Clara hosted Bronco Invite on October 17 (6K) in Sunnyvale. UNLV will venture out north for the Mountain West Championships (6K) scheduled to take place in Reno, Nevada at Washoe Golf Course on October 30. Additionally, the NCAA will hold its West Regional (6K) in Sacramento, California on November 13.
This year's squad will comprise six returners in Breanna Blanks, Kenley Gowdy, Janae Sanders, Alana Sangprasit, Angelina Vasquez and Autumn Viscardo. The newcomers will feature Anya Gorely, Katelyn Johnson, Izzy Karl-Garcia, Sophie Kellogg, Reese Lebaron, Ruby Lorenz, Peyton Pilling, Frankie Scotello and Avery Smith.
