SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country team kicked off its 2026 season Saturday at Cal State San Bernardino's Coyote Classic. The Rebels finished sixth (158 points) in the women's 6K, which was contested at CSUSB XC Course.
UNLV was paced by freshman Sophie Kellogg, who finished 16th overall in a time of 21:47.3. Fellow freshman Anya Gorely ran a 21:52.0 to finish 23rd overall. Freshman Peyton Pilling rounded out the top top three Rebels with a 22:12.2. Junior Breanna Blanks (22:36.9), freshman Frankie Scotello (23:05.2), freshman Avery Smith (23:26.0), Alana Sangprasit (23:31.5) and Reese LeBaron (24:59.3) also represented the Scarlet & Gray.
NEXT UP: UNLV will return to the Golden State for the Riverside Invite on Sept. 19 at the UCR Ag Ops Course.
