LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV volleyball team returns to the Cox Pavilion to host the Rebel Challenge this weekend, Sept. 7-8. The Rebels welcome the Cal State Fullerton Titans, Eastern Kentucky Colonels and Fordham Rams to Las Vegas for the two-day, six-match tournament.
Friday's action is split into two sessions with the Scarlet & Gray serving it up at 10:00 am against Fordham, while Eastern Kentucky and Cal State Fullerton follow at 12:00 pm. The evening portion begins at 5:00 pm with Fordham and Eastern Kentucky, and concludes with UNLV and Cal State Fullerton at 7:00 pm. Saturday's slate will starts at 11:30 am with Fordham and Cal State Fullerton and ends with UNLV vs. Eastern Kentucky at 2:00 pm.
HISTORICALLY SPEAKING
UNLV has faced two of this weekend's opponents before and owns a winning record a combined 7-4 mark against Cal State Fullerton and Eastern Kentucky, while it has never squared off with Fordham.

ON THE SIDELINES
UNLV hits the road for its final tournament of 2018 with a trip to the Show Me State and Saint Louis' Billiken Invitational Sept. 14-15. The Rebels will play Murray State, UMKC and host Saint Louis at the Chaifetz Arena.
This will be UNLV's second trip to St. Louis and SLU after the two played in 1996.
PURCHASE TICKETS: Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 season. Season tickets are just $50 for adults, $40 for UNLV faculty/staff and seniors. Single-game ticket prices this season are $8 for adults, $6 for faculty/staff and seniors, though a special internet price of $5 is available for all tickets bought online at UNLVTickets.com, good up to three hours before the match. All high school, middle school and elementary students are now free at all UNLV volleyball contests under UNLV's new admission policy. To receive free admission, high school students must present valid Nevada area school I.D. at the box office on gameday to receive one (1) complimentary ticket. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.
