DENVER (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV doubles team of
Tom Ciszewski and
Milos Dabic is the program's final representative after Thursday's second day of action at the 2019 ITA Mountain Region Men's Championships being held at the Denver Tennis Park.
The Rebel duo advanced to Friday's Round of 16 by getting by New Mexico State's Timothee Curnier and Nicolas Buitrago, 8-5. Seeded 13
th, they will next face second-seeded James Davis and Matt Summers of host Denver.
Both Ciszewski and Dabic dropped their Round of 32 singles effort while
Clayton Alenik fell in the consolation bracket.
The ITA Regional Championships feature more than 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete across 85 ITA Regional Championships around the country. In Division I, regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending Oracle ITA National Fall Championships in Newport Beach, California.
