LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV's top doubles team won again Saturday to earn a spot in the final of the 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Championships being held at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on campus.
 
En-Pei Huang and Izumi Asano, seeded seventh, knocked off sixth-seeded Madison Tattina and Whitney Hekking of Utah, 6-4, 6-4, to advance. The Rebel duo will face NAU's Adrianna Sosnowska and Mimi Bland in Sunday's championship tilt, which is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
 
In the singles final, NAU's top-seeded Chiara Tomasetti will square off with Colorado's fourth-seeded Sara Nayar. Admission is free of charge.
 
Members from 20 western teams faced off as individuals on 12 courts each day in both singles and doubles.
 
The ITA Regional Championships feature some of the top men's and women's players across the country. More than 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete across 85 ITA Regional Championships around the country. In Division I, regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
