LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Host UNLV closed out its fall competition Sunday with the final round of the annual Rebel Tennis Women's Invitational at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
Joining UNLV in the impressive lineup were competitors from Kansas, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado and Utah.
Rebel Samantha Li won the Flight Four singles crown by default while she and teammate Connie Li (no relation) won the Flight Two doubles championship, 8-3, over Colorado's Maria Campos and Tallulah Farrow. UNLV also got a doubles win from Hsuan Yu Lin and Rachel Lee who downed Madisen Olsen and Taryn Fujimori of Oregon, 8-2.
UNLV is now off until hosting the annual Freeman Memorial Classic from Jan. 17-19.
