LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV's top women's tennis doubles team made a giant jump in the Final Fall ITA Rankings, which were released Wednesday.

Senior En-Pei Huang and junior Izumi Asano went from unranked in the preseason all the way to No. 28 in the nation after posting an 8-2 overall mark in tournament play this autumn.

The Rebel duo became the program's first to win an ITA regional doubles title when they took the Mountain Region crown at home last month and earned a spot in the ITA Fall National Championships.

UNLV is off until hosting the Freeman Memorial Championship in January.
