Runnin' Rebels At Utah State Saturday Afternoon

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team will travel to Logan, Utah, to play at Utah State on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 2:30 p.m. MT/1:30 p.m. PT at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

The Runnin' Rebels are looking to get back in the win column after two straight losses (at San Diego State and vs. No. 8/7 UNR). UNLV (11-9, 5-3) has won five of its last eight games and is led in scoring by senior guard Kris Clyburn (13.6 ppg), sophomore guard Amauri Hardy (12.7 ppg) and freshman forward Joel Ntambwe (12.6 ppg). Sophomore forward Mbacke Diong (6.3 rpg) and Ntambwe (6.3 rpg) are the team's leaders in rebounding, while senior guard Noah Robotham leads in assists (4.8 apg, 3rd in the Mountain West).

Utah State (16-5, 6-2) has won five straight games, six of its last seven, and is 9-1 at home this season. The Aggies, who are coming off a 103-73 win vs. San José State on Wednesday, are led in scoring by Sam Merrill (19.4 ppg) and Neemias Queta (10.9 ppg). Queta leads in rebounding (8.5 rpg), while Merrill is also the team's assist leader (4.4 apg).

UNLV leads the all-time series with Utah State 32-7 and is 15-5 all-time in Logan, however the Aggies have won three of the last four meetings on their home court.

Saturday's game will be televised on AT&T SportsNet with Jenny Cavnar and Joe Cravens calling the action.
