LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV cross country program was named a 2018 NCAA Division I All-Academic Team after the squad posted a program-best 3.53 cumulative GPA, announced the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
 
Delving deeper academically, the Rebels achieved a 3.37 GPA for the fall semester, and had six of their own achieve Dean's List status: Kennedy Allen, Yamilet Biggers, Grace Moore, Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete, Elisa Rovere and Kara Smith. All six had a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, with Wilson-Perteete posting a 4.00.
