LOGAN, UTAH (UNLVRebels.com) - The series finale between UNLV softball at Utah State has been cancelled due to poor field conditions and rain in the Logan area. More information on a possible makeup game will be available at a later day.

The Rebels and the Aggies split the two-game series on Saturday, with UNLV routing Utah State 12-0 in five innings in game one before dropping a close 4-3 contest in game two. Sunday's series rubber match would have been an opportunity for the Rebels to capture their first series victory over the Aggies since 2015.

UNLV finishes the weekend at 22-7 and 3-2 in Mountain West play. The Scarlet and Gray will be back on the road next weekend for three games at San Diego State, March 29-31, then return home for a three-game tilt with Fresno State at Eller Media Stadium, April 5-7.
