LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV cross country team begins its 2019 season at Utah State's Sagebrush Invitational Saturday morning in Logan. The meet, which is being contested at Steve and Dona Reeder Cross Country Course, will feature a men's 7K and women's 5K, which are slated for 9:30 am MT (8:30 am PT) and 10:15 am MT (9:15 am PT), respectively.
The Rebels and host Aggies will be joined by fellow Mountain West representatives, Boise State, in the women's 5K. Coincidentally, the three squads will reconvene at the course in November, as it will serve as the site of the 2019 MW Championships.

"This weekend is about spectating the course the student-athletes will race at the conference championships," said cross country coach

2019 SCHEDULE: UNLV will compete in four regular-season meets this season. The squad will participate at Portland State's Viking Rust Buster next weekend (Sept. 7) before back-to-back trips to the Golden State for Sacramento State's Capital Cross Challenge (Sept. 28) and UC Riverside's Highlander Invitational (Oct. 19). The MW Championships are slated for Nov. 1, while the NCAA Regionals are two weeks later in Colfax, Washington on Nov. 15.
