LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV's Izumi Asano needed three sets but held on to win the Flight One Singles championship during Sunday's closing action at the Women's Tennis Fall Invitational inside the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
Joining the Rebels this weekend were competitors from Long Beach State, NAU, Delaware and Southern Utah.
 
Asano won the first and third set to fend off Adriana Sosnowska of NAU, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, to complete her perfect weekend.
 
The Rebels are now off until hosting the ITA Mountain Regional event starting October 23.
