LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV cross country team will venture to the Pacific Northwest for Portland State's Viking Rust Buster Saturday. The Rebels will compete in the women's 4K, which is slated for 9:30 am and will follow the men's 6K.
UNLV will send nine runners to the meet that will be contested at at Blue Lake Park in Fairview, Oregon. Upperclassmen
Kennedy Allen,
Elisa Rovere,
Emma Wahlenmaier and
Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete will lead the Rebel contingent, while sophomore
Grace Moore and freshmen
Rebecca Fisher,
Rebecca Green, MacKenzie Moss and
Sarrah Springer will also represent the Scarlet & Gray.
The Rebels opened the 2019 season last week at Utah State's Sagebrush Invitational, finishing third overall. Wahlenmaier was the top finisher for UNLV last week, with Green, Moss and Moore running in the Beehive State, too.
