UNLV to play second straight game on the road; 4 p.m. PT contest to be shown on AT&T SportsNet.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - After having its four-game win streak snapped on Wednesday night at Boise State (73-66), the UNLV men's basketball team will play its second straight road game on Saturday, Jan. 11 at Wyoming at 5 p.m. MT/4 p.m. PT at Arena-Auditorium.
UNLV (8-9, 3-1) had started 3-0 in Mountain West play for just the second time in program history, before falling to 3-1 in league action. It recently completed a five-game homestand with a four-game win streak, which included wins last week vs. defending MW Champion and unanimous preseason favorite Utah State (70-53) on Jan. 1, and against Air Force (71-59) last Saturday. During the streak, the Runnin' Rebels won each of the four games by double digits. Sophomore guard Bryce Hamilton was named this week's MW Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 17.5 points per game on 15 of 19 shooting vs. Utah State and Air Force.

Junior guard Amauri Hardy leads four UNLV players averaging in double-figure scoring with 15.2 points per game (9th in MW), while junior forward Mbacke Diong is the team's leading rebounder with 8.9 per contest (5th in MW). UNLV is under new leadership this year in head coach T.J. Otzelberger.

Wyoming (5-12, 0-5) is in its fourth year under head coach Allen Edwards. The Cowboys have dropped three straight games, including Wednesday night vs. No. 7 San Diego State (72-52). Hunter Maldonado leads the team in scoring (18.1 ppg, 2nd in MW), rebounding (5.6 rpg) and assists (3.4 apg).

Saturday's game will be televised by AT&T SportsNet with Drew Goodman, Sed Bonner and Taylor McGregor (reporter) calling the action. Jon Sandler, former Runnin' Rebel Curtis Terry and Steve Cofield (sideline reporter) will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live on ESPN Radio 1100 in Las Vegas and online via the UNLVGameday App and TuneIn.
