LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team continued its hot start to the 2020 campaign with a 4-2 win over UC Davis Friday afternoon at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels improved to 8-0 on the year while the Aggies fell to 4-2.
 
UNLV was forced to rally after UC Davis took the doubles point by winning two of three matches.
 
In singles, the Rebels got three quick wins but needed a three-set victory to clinch it after all remaining matches split sets.
 
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Tom Ciszewski, just coming off an injury, lost the first set in singles before rallying for a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Chetan Swanson on court four in singles to mark his first dual-match victory of 2020.
 
QUOTABLE: "After such a big high yesterday (beating BYU), we were a little flat today coming out and UC Davis played solid doubles. But then we saw great team energy on all singles courts to get the win."

NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV continues its long homestand by a hosting doubleheader Sunday starting at 10 a.m. vs. Weber State before facing Seattle at 2 p.m. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
